Verna

Verna was sitting by herself with her back against the wall surveying the Civic Park in front of her. Her feet where pulled up close to her, and she had her arms stretched out with her hands clasped. This is a downtown park frequented by a lot of homeless folk, and I wasn't sure about her. She had a backpack with her, and she was enjoying the sun, but she was alone. She was more than willing to have me move in with my camera, and to engage in a bit of banter.

Her eyes, when they peaked above her sunglasses, were carefully made up in purple. Her reflective lenses show off her outstretched hands and the park she is surveying, but they also betray the photographer.

You really do have to go LARGE to get a good look at Verna.
