Red Arrows

Today i've had a fantastic day at RAF Cosford airshow in gorgeous sunshine. The air displays were absolutely spectacular involving Spitfires, Hurricanes, Vulcans, Chenooks and of course the Red Arrows amongst many others. My heart was in my mouth on a couple of occaisions as they wheeled through the sky pulling out of spins as they plummeted to the ground and hurtled towards each other at great speed, brilliant stuff! It was also very humbling as many of their heroic acts were recounted over the airwaves, along with personal stories by ex-servicemen, and a demonstration of a simulated rescue of a pilot shot down with life threatening injuries was very sobering. I salute them all.
