Last year an ugly substation was transformed by pupils from Firrhill High School under the supervision of Chris Rutterford who has designed many murals including the Colinton Tunnel. The mural depicts some of the wild life which can be found in, and around, the Braid Burn which runs in a little valley in the southern part of Edinburgh.
