The pony ride!

Our daughter-in-law A (Nik and Oskar's Mom) has always loved to ride horses. As does her mother, who finally at age 75 fulfilled her life's dream to live in a house with the barn for 2 horses in her back yard! What lucky grandchildren! And cousins! Fiona has been talking about riding the pony since she had a taste of it at a school fair, so today we all went over to see and ride the pony. Fiona could not stop grinning the whole time - was not afraid to turn and stop Pendy, the perfect kid pony, by herself and now wants to ride the bigger horse, Sandy. Thank you to Aunty A for making this happen! We'll see later about that bigger one........

The photo is of one absolutely delighted little girl and her patient Aunty A with beautiful new riding boots, who is an excellent rider and instructor and would love to see another take up this passion. And here's Tatum riding too.

Yes, this is a back blip for yesterday -there has just been NO time---grrrr... And last night we had ballet tickets.....which we enjoyed, but got too late for photos. We'll see maybe I will manage to skip today....maybe....
