Watching and waiting

I spied this beautiful heron on our last trip across the bridge as we walked to the car....to leave lovely Besalu. Luckily I had the camera to hand :))
An early run around the lake again before packing up. We drove just over an hour today to the Costa Brava coast to Llafranc ( returning  here as we loved it a few years ago). We stopped off to look at a medieval village on the way and would have visited Dali's palace in Pubol, but it is closed on Mondays. We may go back.
In a hotel for a few days so we chilled by the pool and had a swim. A little wander down to the beach, but very windy there today.
