A day at home

This morning was horrible weather-wise with heavy rain and strong winds so it wasn't suitable for walking or gardening. Did 2 or 3 little housework jobs and then had lunch. Eventually the sun came out and with the stiff breeze it was definitely worth pegging out the washing and it soon dried. Did a bit of pruning but not much! Had lost the enthusiasm for doing much by then.
Ordered more used books! Also pre-ordered one soon to be released in paperback. The new book I am reading by Lucy Clarke is really good so I have ordered some more of hers and another Santa Montefiore one.
Booked flu jab at GP surgery for tomorrow and also Terry booked his for the same day (different GP surgery) so must remember to cancel the October appointments we made at Tesco Pharmacy.
Terry has been given a hospital appointment for MRCP on the 24th. It's a Sunday and the test is at 08:30! He has a blood test booked for the 20th too which is for a specific test connected to the investigations he is having.
