poppy

Today had been nice and chilled out after the long day at the wedding yesterday.

Me and Ty thought it'd be nice to go out for a nice bike ride after tea, i took my camera as i'd not taken any photos until then.
A few weeks back i thought i'd seen a field in one of the villages with loads of poppies growing, so we went to see if they were still there... They had all gone, but i spotted a little group of them on the edge of of the field we cut across. I made my way through the tall grass and stingers (with sensible cropped jeans and flip flops on of course!) camera in hand... snapped a few shots.
Hayfever seemed to take over from then on....
Itchy throat was unbearable, Yucky bunged feeling in my head, so said to ty we had to head back home so i could take my tablets and sort it out...
The bike ride home saw us get covered in a variety on bugs...mainly greenflies...anyone else think there is a stupid amount of them about this year??
i lost count of how many i swallowed! Yuck!!
It's now several hours later and i still have a nasty Hayfever head... Hate it!!
