Grey Sun

Today’s forecast promised rain and cooler air. In reality, this day was actually rather warm (26°C), partly sunny, and quite humid; so my gym visit became more exhausting than I had hoped. 

I went shopping at a hardware store on the way home, for some DIY after work. 
When we moved into our house, we kept some stuff (like the ceiling lights in the halls) from the previous owners, even though some wasn’t what we’d have chosen - just so we wouldn’t have to change everything at once.

But then we got used to ignoring things like the ugly, cheap ceiling light in the utility corner next to the kitchen. Today I finally got and fitted a new one there - about time, after more than eight years…
