Esmé and Her Pumpkins

Esmé and her dad came over for breakfast this morning. After eating, she and I went upstairs to decorate pumpkins while Eric and Jahmal took a spin on our dusty tandem bike ater Eric got rid of all the dust and cleaned it up real good. He was happy to take it out, though amazed at the difference between being the lighter of two on the bike instead of the heavier. 
I was happy because it's always so good to see Esmé, and because we've established a Fall schedule of childcare at Jahmal's one morning a week beginning this Friday.
Later, Eric and I went to the Polish Festival for a kielbasa, a beer, and a good time tapping our feet to the music.
