Shining in the gloom

It's ages since I have had a go at the Mono Monday challenge.  Kersko (who is hosting) has chosen some excellent themes for this month so I thought I really ought to show willing and take part.

So here for the "In the dark" challenge is an osteospermum waving around in the breeze, during a brief sunny intermission between heavy showers today.  

Everything is looking very autumnal now.  Still, I have a trip to prepare for over the next few days, so I shall be busy getting everything sorted.
