Wild Storks

Yesterday our birdie trip took us out of London and South to the Arun Valley and RSPB Pulborough Brooks.  It was a stormy day with a few cracks of thunder and lightning but we managed to stay dry scuttling from one hyde to another.  There were quite a few birds to see but undoubtedly the stars of the day were the Storks.  These elegant birds are being reintroduced back into the countryside after an absence of about 600 years so it was a privaledge and delight to see.
