Into The Light

Monday is walking group day in Wanaka so 15 of us set out to walk to the outlet of the lake along a lovely track that has existed for yonks. 
Every walking track here now is shared with Bikes and in spite of totally useless signs that require bikes to give way to walkers, the bikers are mostly concentrating on how fast they can do the track and walkers have to beware. Unfortunately the very windy weather conditions had closed what was left of the local ski fields so there was an excess of risk to older folk and small stuffed dogs, out walking.
