Another last

After 14 years of sewing badges and name tags onto school uniforms this is my last one. I sewed Abby’s blazer colours this evening and inevitably found myself reflecting on school memories. Made more poignant by the fact that I use my Grandmother’s sewing box which my Mother also used (still has their darning thread, needle cases, button tin). I think Abby leaving school is going to be a bit of a blip theme for me over the next few months!!
