Puzzling

We looked after the girls over breakfast and then after Grace got home we had lunch. Eda is dressed up for a party this afternoon for one of the new girls in her class. Eda is her buddy so she has very kindly invited her to her 5th birthday party.

To pass the time until it was we all had to leave she started doing jigsaws. Jude was having a go too. Think she’s going to be like Granny with her jigsaw puzzling.

By lunchtime the forecast extreme weather had arrived. Very windy and heavy rain. We left for home as they left for the party and the rain came with us till we stopped for coffee in the midlands. It caught up with us again as we went across the M42 but it was dry on the M1. We’ve just got in and the rain has started. Autumn has arrived.

Poor John and his camping trip. Still they have gone to the Gower to surf so perhaps they won’t be too bothered!

Hope they have a good weather for the birthday party on Sunday. 
We will see then again in about a month.
