............ it hasn’t moved from this spot for days but it’s not dead - every so often it stretched one or two of it’s legs .......... and predictably, just when I decided to take a photo, it flew away and I was only allowed the one shot - so here you have it ;-)

I want to have a go at making a chocolate cake for my daughter’s birthday next month but she doesn’t eat wheat or milk. I have found a recipe that uses rice flour but I’m not sure if that’s the best alternative to use for a sponge cake. Have any of you ever made a gluten free chocolate cake that turned out well? Any advice appreciated ;-)
