Not so gory shot...

My poor hubby....

Climbing with his friend in the Galloway hills.... A slip... A fall between 8-10m onto granite.... Unconscious for 10mins.... Much blood.... Airlifted to Ayr hospital.... 15 stitches in the head, 3 behind the ear and 4 in his knee.... Staying in over night to make sure he is fine and not strange in the head.

I'm just home to get clothes etc and then back up first thing to see what the consultant says.

Exhausted.... But so so so glad he is so far ok. Staff at the hospital were fantastic. As was his climbing partner and the heli men.

Off for a wee cry I think now as it all sinks in....
