Raven

We spent the day at Raven Rock State Park, did several hikes and the kids went swimming in the Cape Fear River. We went to look at a part of the river where the water is shally and flows over bedrock the kids ended up finding a mossy chute with decent flow that made a great water slide.
Noah and Avery both brought friends and the four teens did a late afternoon hike while Nina practiced making shadow puppets on the walls of the tent. Mindy had printed out a small single page tutorial, she practiced those for a bit and ended up being quite good at it and figuring out how to make some mythical creatures she liked.
