An Indoor Sort of Day

I had plans to go out with my camera this morning but unfortunately I woke with a migraine.  I don't get so many as I used to and a couple of hours in bed saw it off, but I still felt a bit washed-out so I decided to have a 'dressing-gown' day and watch the Singapore F1 Grand Prix, which certainly had some exciting moments.

Instead of my intended subject I've included one in my occasional series of 'decorative objects'.  These painted boxes are far from pristine and fairly roughly painted but I'm rather fond of them.  They sit on the top of the cupboard in our en-suite, in front of a pretty (inscribed) mirror that M gave to me on our wedding day.
