Autumn in the woods

Season of crisp leaves,
warm light and.. squirrels. Sadly
no chase for Leo.

Another quiet day, walked Ben and Leo to the local shops without too much drama.  Although Ben's impulsiveness gets us into trouble, I have recently bought a new rucksack to carry his diabetes kit around with me/ bottles of water etc but it's quite little in comparison to my old one.  Today I bought the baguette for our lunch and had to carry it home as it wouldn't fit in my bag.  The fact that it was out and visible caused Ben no end of problems, if he can see something he just can't get it out of his head.  Also things like the little blue tokens to vote for a charity in Tesco, once he's seen them, he can't stop until he's pushed past everyone to get a handful and post them.  It's just so much more tricky now he's nearly six foot and looking over everyone.
Other than that, I cleaned the bathrooms, played some throwing game, made lunch, had a walk in the woods.  You know the drill.  It was still warm ish today but it's autumnal and the woods are very striking.  Leo is still on the long line which is a bit of a change of pace but feels necessary if we're not to completely lose him :-/  He was disappointed to watch so many squirrels cross his path and not be able to chase!
