The Pump Room, Strathpeffer

A Mrs Mitchell starts her course of herbal baths in order to cure her of whatever ailment she had. The bath contained a mixture of peat and water. Once the railway to Strathpeffer was completed the London gentry flocked to the Strath to bathe and drink the waters.
