the lesser-spotted urban gardener

Two years ago our waste ground garden looked like this.  

Last year we had sprouts, rhubarb, black runner beans and some herbs.  Not long after that, Anniemay's gardening partner - neighbour Tricia - was having to deal with cancer and so all activity stopped.  Nature did what Nature does .... claimed the land back.

Trica's now had the all-clear and so the gardeners return.
