Terrible photo from a great day. Our 6.5km swim was shortened to 4.5km due to winds. It was a bit rolly with some surf for the last kilometre. Very warm water.
Well done to B who completed his first open water swim event in over 40 years! He swam 2.5km breaststroke, his main stroke from way back when. We had another great meal in our usual place, the icing on the cake a big slate of perfectly cooked steak.
