Riverside Path……

A very windy start to the day. Warm temperatures. The wind became stronger and stronger through the day. Nor-west gales throughout the lower North Island and most of the South Island. I took Maisie to Animates for a bath mid morning. She wasn’t very grubby but Margaret was arriving later this morning and it’s nice to have a clean, sweet-smelling dog in the house when folk are visiting. Friends Lynne and Russell brought a bag of pinecones to add to the two bags Lynne brought yesterday. Friend Jill from Christchurch was with them. Jill, Margaret and I had a brief but great reunion while Lynne and Russell waited patiently in their car. Friends are such fun.
