Maximus in his element

Having a great trip. We miss him around here but he is doing what he loves. Good day reading and housework and a little gardening. About 9:30 I heard a constant rumbling. Was thinking it was thunder- it went on forever then read on the Ballard blog that the guy on Bainbridge Island was celebrating his birthday with an amazing fireworks show- he does it every year but I always forget about until it happens.
