Home And Garden and Booze and Burritos

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

Today we met Manda and Jefe in Wellington and went to the Home & Garden show in the Cake Tin

I thought it was going to be dull. Caro and me went in 2021 and it was just after COVID and there was almost nothing to see. Except Edinburgh Gin. Edinburgh Gin had a whole STAND and so we came away clinking like a pair of Pikies.

This year there was more to see. But I figured it would be all flooring and hot tubs and double glazing. There was a fair amount of that but also a lot of FOOD and BOOZE.

I was in excellent mood.

Jefe also found the vibrating chair display and took one chair for a spin. He squealed in delight as it started with his feet and then worked its way up his entire body. We started to feel like maybe we shouldn't be seeing this. And maybe Jefe didn't NEED Manda anymore.

The salesman told Jefe that the chair was on special and was only $3k. Jefe was DEFINITELY thinking about it, but their place is too small. In the end he bought a vibrating cushion for $150 instead. Caro got one too.

We had a really fun time with the pair and went to The Old Bailey bar afterward for wedges and a burger. We got home at about 7pm and I fell deeply asleep by 9.

The booze may have contributed. But I'm going to say that it was a big day.

S.
