Swan Lake

Ooops.  I Processed this three hours ago and just realised I never posted it.

'Eight Swans Awaiting'

The boating lake in the local park (Beveridge Park, Kirkcaldy).

The day's boating was over and the boats had been parked up for the night.  However, it was not too late for the sinking sun to pick them out against the unlit (dark) trees and foliage behind, enabling the swans to stand out.

The 'swans' are propelled by pedal power whilst the more conventional boats are propelled by oars.

The lake is also home to a family of real swans - two parents and five (now full-sized) cygnets.
