Sally Mair - Loving life

Sale for Morocco and Libya

A quiet start to the day, 5hen at lunchtime a quick outing to our local Mosque - it used to be a Free Church of Scotland but closed in 2012. The stone over the door quotes Psalm 100 -We shall enter His gates with Thanksgiving which is also appropriate for a Mosque.
They were holding a bake sale to raise money for Morocco and Libya so I was hoping for some delicious middle Eastern delicacies. It was quite a small sale, outside under a gazebo and there wasn't much which was home baked but I did manage to get a bag of still warm fresh pakora. Delicious. My blip was taken from a distance so as not to offend, I didn't mind taking a picture as some of the participants were using cameras too.
I went down to Stockbridge with Ali and Josie this afternoon. Two of us had coffee at Soderberg, the other had some water and bread sticks.
When I got home I spent an hour or so writing intercessions for tomorrow. This weekend it is Holy Cross Day so our patronal festival. Lots of extra services and events on . We should have had a lunch tomorrow but I've of the organisers has COVID so it was decided to cancel it for the time being
This evening we watched the final episode of series one of The Tower, were looking forward to starting series 2 next week.
Thank you for all the lovely comments about the funeral yesterday, I think it was the send off she wanted and a comfort to her family
