Lime Green Carnation

This can't be natural surely? I like carnations...well as flowers to buy for the house myself, cheap and cheerful. I'd not be impressed if hubby bought me a bunch for Valentines day or my birthday mind you!

I got a bunch of these ones last week, the couple of buds that were starting to open looked a nice lemon colour and would look nice in my kitchen. Only once they started to open properly, it became apparent that they are green. Not a nice green, but a horrible lime green, verging on luminous/fluorescent green. YUCK!
