Naughty but Nice

This was my reward for going shopping early when it was raining with intent -a deeply unpleasant experience. The rain ran off my raincoat to soak my trousers which then stuck to my legs which made walking just that bit more uncomfortable. I felt sorry enough for myself that when this croissant winked at me as I walked past where it lay, it was in my basket before I could demur.

Needless to say, by the time I was having coffee with my niece, the rain had all but stopped and it was looking a bit brighter. I had been intending to walk this afternoon, but with a long chat to Glasgow daughter and a paper to read, the afternoon has more or less slipped away.

One minor achievement was to transfer the Amazon Fire Stick from the study TV to the sitting room TV. It may not seem much, but wrestling it into the appropriate slot at the back of the wall mounted TV was not easy. Why was the set not designed to have the port slots at the side rather than the middle of the back? I need the Fire Stick  to override Freeview and deliver programmes via the internet  giving clear screen pictures because for the last 4-5 days my Freeview pictures have been grossly pixelated as have those of my neighbours. According to what is put up on the internet, many post codes in Edinburgh are similarly affected. I have complained on the web site but it’s a case of ‘talk to the hand’!
