Picnic

I would like today's Blip to have featured the Red Arrows, the RAF Falcons, a Vulcan or any other of the amazing displays at the Cosford Airshow, alas, we never made it.

After sitting in a traffic jam on the A41 for well over three hours and moving the grand distance of just over a mile we made the decision to turn round and go home. Sad as it was, it was the right decision. Some people ahead of us in the queue to get in (just by a mile) arrived on site just after 4pm!!!! We joined the queue just after 10am. I doubt we'd have ever made it.

Apparently, it's just as horrific getting off site and away, with some reporting that they haven't moved more than a few yards in over two hours!

We ate our picnic in the car and came home to the local park. Not quite the day planned and we are all a bit gutted truth be told.
