Drink sea water!

If there’s anything I’ve ever learned when sea sailing it was ‘ don’t drink sea water, no matter how thirsty you are’. So  seeing these cans in the supermarket this afternoon I had to go back and take a snapshot, just to find out what this is all about. Of course it is a good idea to make drinkable water from sea water, especially if it is done using only renewable energy, and there are plenty of desalination plants in the Middle East, but it does use an awful lot of energy to get it clean. And the idea still feels funny …
