Swalllows and Amazons....

...spent a delightful day in the Lakes today with a chap called Tony Wright. He's a photography pro and very good at his job he is too; he did his best to impart knowledge to me and whilst I understood everything he said, I still possess incredible capability for taking crap images!!

This wasn't the best shot of the day by a long way, but it evoked memories of my youth reading Ransome's classic about childhood in the lakes between the wars. I know that I shouldn't find it funny, but Titty Walker is still the best named character ever; I struggle to suppress a juvenile snigger.
