Tip trip.

Okay, not the council tip, but the recycling centre. For which we had to make an appointment (easy to be fair); 12.30-13.00hrs. Research of the kerbside collection rules confirmed none of our set of bins were appropriate for the wee job that we started in the morning. We continued to complete the task in hand as it was a wet afternoon; ultimately a good use of our time.
