Waiting

The dentist was running a bit late. After I’d been in his chair for the best part of two hours he was running really late! Root canal done though and temporary crown in place. It might be ‘uncomfortable’ for the next week - paracetamol and ibuprofen to the rescue.
Dental assistant: What instrument do you want?
Dentist: The pointy one.
Not easy to laugh with a frozen jaw.

It was raining when I came away and it hasn’t stopped since. Steady rain on the way to The Tiq, pouring on the way back. Seems like autumn is really here this time.
