oh, remember the days when i used to take really interesting pictures of african wildlife, kids in african villages etc? now all i seem to take are pictures of various things i will be filling my house with. this saddens me!

while cleaning out my room i found this african print that i bought in malawi a few years ago. today i found a lovely frame for it, hoorah, and i think the colours go rather splendidly with my lovely birthday print.

today i felt genuinely pleased to be invited to a church in north shrewsbury who are doing the most amazing things in their local community. real unsung heroes. then this afternoon i had the privilege of being part of an interview panel for one of the local churches as they seek to recruit a new youth worker. really great to be part of the selection process as we will be hopefully working closely with the chosen candidate. exciting times.
