Autumn dusk

As the equinox approaches the skies seem to mark this change with dramatic effect. It was dark as I headed out for an early shift. Bright and clear by 0800 and positively summery again as we walked into the village this afternoon. We spent the day working through our long list of things to be done before Monday. A thank you note from Wiltshire took 4 days to reach us. First class stamp too. It proudly bore the new king’s head on it. Is Britain really broken Britain ?
