Lawyer's Wig

Each autumn we get a few of these Shaggy Inkcaps appearing in our lawn.  They grow rapidly, like a rocket emerging through the grass, and they are initially white, but turn jet black and liquefy after a few days.  An alternate name for them is Lawyer's Wig.
