potholes and more potholes

This was my only image of the day, I went for a walk and saw nothing that drew my attention, my photographic eye must be waning!  But on the way home I photographed this image.  Potholes are a bit of an issue with local residents!  Rather than resurface the road, which is short, they patch and mend which is not a good solution.
