Disaster

Not what you want to see when you go up the garden path! The hive stand must have collapsed in the night and three of the hives were upside down.
No need to panic ! I put on my bee suit and lit the smoker, and piece by piece righted them, just onto the ground.
The third hive were rather upset and I got stung three times for my help, but hopefully they are all ok, so long as the queens didn’t get harmed in the chaos. Only time will tell.
We will make a new stand and get them back up onto it as soon as possible, as they are vulnerable to attack from mice and other things down there.
Then I got on with my day!!
