Wild flowers in the park.

A blue sky morning in the park. And the yellow corn marigold meadow area was vibrant on the southern slope of the Roman Antonine Wall.

Friends came for coffee this afternoon, too cool outside by then, so we sat in the conservatory.

Heavy rain this evening.

The wee family spent the morning at the beach; oldest son reported it was as good as he could recall in years. That’s nice.

Younger son still carrying a knee injury from Saturday’s rugby game. He’s unable to play this Saturday in North England; is attending a teacher’s conference - hopefully fit for next game
