Petrichor

Just another day in the office. Some interesting characters as usual. I was delighted to see someone my own age walk in, only to remember I’m not 19 anymore. But sometimes living on this island I also need to remind myself that I’m not middle aged yet either.

First time my new patagonia jacket saw the light (and drizzle) of day. Glad to have packed it.

Sun was shining in the morning but the highlight of my day was the afternoon petrichor. Good word petrichor. Don’t think I’ve ever used it in a sentence before. Doubt I will again.
