Day trip

Another island hop, up with the lark and off to Oban for the early ferry to Craignure on the Isle of Mull. Here we spotted a white tailed sea eagle casually making its journey across the sound.
No car spaces were available and so we’d booked on as foot passengers. On arrival we then caught the bus to Tobermory and spent the day there, 4.5 miles including an interesting stroll through a wooded coastal path to the lighthouse and back across the top via Tobermory golf course. Just a couple of light showers made for a most enjoyable day.
