Lawnmower Kid

I had Matty for the afternoon while DN1 went for another scan. Since her miscarriage shes been super anxious about it happening again so had been booking private scans.

Meanwhile, DN2 arrived back from Majorca and Mr W went to collect her, her BF and Jasper from the airport. I still can't get my head around the change of events since her and Mr W made up!!! He dropped me, Matty and Jaspers birthday present off at their house 1st.

It was so nice to see them all back but Jasper made a bee-line straight for his new tractor ..... but that was only until he opened his present from GaGa.... his new lawnmower.

Jasper is OBSESSED with mowing the lawn. Hes had a cheap, non working, bubble blowing lawnmower for the summer but I managed to find him (a super expensive) one with a pull cord and realistic sounds, including ear defenders as worn by his favourite character Blippi!!!

Well..... I have to say.... I have never seen such a happy boy..... hes mowed the lawn ALL EVENING!!!!! And wore his ear defenders to Tesco!!!

Matty and I then went home and baked cookies while we waited for mummy and a baby bean to arrive back. Scan shows shes 8 weeks and 5 days and all looks well.
