3182. Parque Del Retiro

Our final full day in Madrid. We set off for Sol again this morning and had a wee wander around the shops. We spotted a rather nice restaurant for lunch and then headed over to Parque Del Retiro. Hubby met Buzz Lightyear there who grabbed him for a photo then wanted me to pay him for it! There were several of these characters there just trying to make money out of tourists….
By the time we’d finished walking around the park it was heading towards 27 degrees so we decided to call it a day as we were both far too hot.

It’s been a lovely break and the hotel had been fabulous.
