Bungalow Bill

"Deep in the jungle where the mighty tiger lies..." came to mind when walking around the Rhododendron park in Haaga, Helsinki. There were not only rhododenra of different colours but also azalea (also belonging to the rhodenron species), and with different colours as in this image.

Unfortunately the park's blossom season is not very long, but now it was in its prime, and there were tens if not more than a hundred visitors there when we also were. Rode there with our bikes, in glorious sunny weather.

Funny that somebody got the idea of plant these in a pine forest in the middle of urban housing. Now we are all thankful for that idea.
