Inverary through a heat haze

Horse riding today with Carol and we had an awesome ride. We are preparing for our horse riding holiday to France so we are mostly going out for hacks and practising jumping and fast canters outside the school. I love it. Though half the time it scares me!

I should have stopped to take a decent photo of Inverary as there was lots going on, loads of tourists and a pipe band playing down at the harbour. But the traffic was busy and parking was hard to come by. So this is the view from the bridge as you leave the town, where I had to stop for the traffic lights.

On a day like today, there is no better place to be than in Scotland. The sun is blazing and everything looks beautiful.
