a new beginning?

Up to now I haven't Blipped people or events (one exception I can recall). After 365 Blips without the benefit of humankind, maybe a change is due?

Well here's the barbecue/garden party I was at this afternoon. Rotary Club plus partners & friends. Social rather than fundraising, but I bet there will be a wee surplus to benefit a local cause.

Some trivia...

There's a jazz band one of the tents. The bass player was in my GP practice until recent retirement. He probably saved my son's life in August '11 with an immediate admission to hospital.

The tables and benches are Biergarten furnishings from Ingolstadt. Courtesy of the brewery Nordbräu, I think. Long story...

One of the local delicacies on offer was buffalo burgers. About 5 food miles, and very low fat. Delicious too.
