Landscape

Classical landscape was the theme for Wide Wednesday.
This is a typical view of our area of the Odenwald.
The path leads along the river Gersprenz. It is only for tractors, bikes and pedestrians. There is also a wide range of fields. The plants change every year. This crop rotation reduces the reliance of crops on one set of nutrients, pest and weed pressure, along with the probability of developing resistant pests and weeds. 
There are old orchards, meadows and hedges and even smal forests, which are a perfect shelter for many different animals. 
It is always a pleasure to stroll through this landscape. 
It's far away from perfect.
It will be destroyed soon. Than the new bypass will be build just there, sigh!
