Above Llyn Gwynant - Snowdonia

We made an early get away to make the most of what will be the best day, weather wise, it was glorious. Cross country - Betws-y-coed, Beddgelert, Glaslyn Osprey Project, Pwllheli. A beautiful drive, lovely scenery, many photo stops, a picnic lunch. We went to the Osprey Project but were told the osprey had left the nest a week ago and we would be unlikelt to see them. However, 15 mins later there was some excitement when a young osprey was spotted on the nearer nest. It was great to look through the telescopes and watch it, as it had caught a fish. I managed to get a photo on full zoom and digital zoom. The quality is not great but it proves we saw the osprey and the fish!
