Found thing

When I was cleaning high up shelves in the kitchen cabinets on Monday I found this tea cup saucer.   Who knows where it came from or why I had it stashed away.  

Found a stamp on the bottom. Woods and Sons Ltd, England, March 21,1917 and patented.  Looked on eBay but found it is Bird of Paradise pattern.  

Now I am on a mission to see if I can find the  cup that goes with it.  Any excuse to head out to the antique/junk stores!

Great thunderstorm yesterday evening. After it passed by us I went out to watch the lightning. It was streaking tremendously across the sky. Someone was really getting lit up miles away!  I could not get my brain wrapped around how to shoot it with the camera. I probably could have gotten it with the phone!  Another storm forecast for tonight so I might get a second chance
